CONS:

In order to download and use Search Engine Genealogy, you must have Windows. It will not work on a Mac. This is because it doesn't come as a pdf file, but includes a special ebook reader in order to access the file. A minor inconvenience, though the ebook structure and navigation are a little clumsy as a result.

SUMMARY:

There is little in this ebook that you can't go out and find on your own.  The advantage here is that you can dramatically reduce the time you spend on the Internet weedng through all the genealogy options.  The author, with a background in Family History, has done all the research for you, then put the results together in this ebook with explanations of each, demonstrations of how they fit into the ancestry search process and direct links to each resource. Excellent if you're just starting out. Worthwhile if you've been doing some online family tree research but feel you've hit a wall.
